Church: Automated Sunday Service Reminders for Your Congregation

Keep your congregation connected with weekly service reminders. A simple Saturday SMS can increase Sunday attendance significantly.

Setup in 3 Simple Steps

1. Import Your Members

Go to Contacts → Import and upload a CSV with your congregation members. Include phone, first_name, last_name, and optionally cell_group.

Create a static group called "All Members" and assign the imported contacts to it.

2. Set Up Global Variables

In Organisation Settings → Custom Settings, add:

• church_name = Grace Community Church
• service_time = 9:00 AM
• church_address = 15 Main St, Harare

3. Create a Weekly Recurring Campaign

1. Go to Recurring Campaigns → New Recurring Campaign
2. Name it "Sunday Service Reminder"
3. Select your approved Sender ID
4. Select the "All Members" group
5. Write your message:
   Dear {first_name}, join us tomorrow for Sunday worship at {service_time}! Venue: {church_address}. God bless! - {church_name}
6. Set frequency to Weekly, choose Saturday, and set the time to 5:00 PM
7. Click Create
